Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the Fox AI Terms of Service and describes prohibited and restricted uses of the Fox AI Service. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

1. Authorized Use Only

You may only direct Fox AI to access websites and platforms for which you have explicit, lawful authorization. This means:

• You hold a valid account on the platform.
• The platform's terms of service do not prohibit the type of access you are performing.
• You are not impersonating another person or using another person's credentials.
• You are not accessing accounts, data, or systems belonging to others without their written consent.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use Fox AI to:

Illegal Activity

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or court order
• Facilitate fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
• Access systems without authorization (violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act or equivalent laws)
• Generate, distribute, or facilitate child exploitation material
• Engage in harassment, stalking, or threats

Classified and Regulated Information

• Process classified, top-secret, or government-restricted information
• Process protected health information (PHI) in a manner that violates HIPAA
• Process student education records in a manner that violates FERPA
• Process financial data in a manner that violates PCI-DSS, SOX, or similar regulations
• Process attorney-client privileged communications
• Process export-controlled technical data (ITAR, EAR)

Security and Integrity

• Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or security assessments against any third-party system
• Bypass CAPTCHAs, rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms
• Introduce malware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code
• Scrape or harvest data in bulk from platforms where this is prohibited
• Interfere with or disrupt any third-party service
• Overwhelm third-party servers with excessive automated requests

Deception and Misrepresentation

• Impersonate any person, entity, or institution
• Generate fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
• Create deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive
• Submit AI-generated work as your own in contexts where this violates applicable policies (such as academic honor codes) — this determination is your responsibility, not ours
• Use Fox AI to fabricate credentials, certifications, or qualifications

Harmful Content

• Generate content that promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
• Generate content that is defamatory, libelous, or knowingly false
• Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Generate spam, phishing content, or scam materials

3. High-Risk Scenarios — Your Responsibility

The following scenarios carry significant risk. Fox AI does not prohibit these uses, but you assume all risk and liability:

• Using your personal Google account: Fox AI's browser will have access to all data in that account. Data loss, modification, or unintended access is your risk.
• Signing into email accounts: The AI agent could read, send, or delete emails. Use a dedicated account.
• Banking or financial platforms: The AI agent could view account balances, transactions, or initiate actions. We strongly recommend NEVER adding financial platforms.
• Social media accounts: The AI agent could read private messages, post content, or modify your profile.
• Work or employer platforms: Content visible on employer platforms (Slack, Jira, internal wikis) will be sent to AI providers via screenshots.
• Platforms with private or sensitive user data: Any platform displaying other people's personal information (healthcare portals, HR systems, CRMs) exposes that data to AI providers.

4. Academic Use Disclaimer

Fox AI is a productivity tool. It is not designed to help users circumvent academic integrity policies. However, we acknowledge that the tool can be used in educational contexts. If you do so:

• You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with your institution's academic integrity policy, honor code, and individual instructor policies regarding AI assistance.
• Many institutions have policies ranging from full prohibition to permitted use with disclosure. These policies change frequently. It is not our responsibility to monitor or enforce them.
• If you are found to have violated your institution's policies, we bear no liability for any resulting academic sanctions, including but not limited to failing grades, suspension, or expulsion.
• We do not make any representations about the detectability or undetectability of AI-generated content.

5. Platform Terms Compliance

Many websites and platforms prohibit automated access in their terms of service. Fox AI automates a browser — this may constitute a violation of those platforms' terms. You are solely responsible for determining whether automated access is permitted on each platform you add. We do not monitor third-party terms of service, and violation of third-party terms is your liability, not ours.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of Fox AI that violates this policy, please report it to abuse@foxstack.ai.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including:

• Warning the user
• Temporarily suspending access
• Permanently terminating the account without refund
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
• Cooperating with legal proceedings and lawful data requests

8. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
